Kintsukuroi: “to repair with gold”;

The (Japanese) art of repairing pottery with gold or silver laquer and understanding that the piece is more beautiful for having been broken, and more valuable because of its history.


“And yet, O Lord, you are our Father. We are the clay, and you are the Potter. We all are formed by your hand.”
