Such sorrow and such joy we are trying to hold together in this one particular Easter.
Brothers and sisters of the world, we are One People.
We kneel together, we weep together, we stand together.
We stand against all that brings darkness and despair. Against violence, destruction and hate. Against fear of the “other.”
We remember each other. We honor each other. We come toward one another.
We sing together, we dance together, we rejoice together, when we are able.
We are seekers of light and hope and hold on to it with all of our heart, soul and mind.
We cry with those whose hearts are broken. We hold up those that need holding.
You are seen, and heard. May you feel embraced by love.
